The installation includes energy-efficient split ducted or VRV systems to serve all playrooms, staff rooms, offices, and sleep areas. The air conditioning units are sized and zoned to suit the functional layout of the centre and allow for temperature control in each space. All systems are designed in accordance with the requirements of the NCC and AS 1668.2, ensuring adequate fresh air is introduced to all occupied spaces.
Mechanical ventilation systems are provided for all internal toilets and kitchen areas using appropriately sized exhaust fans and ductwork. Make-up air provisions are included where required to maintain air balance and compliance with ventilation standards. All equipment is acoustically treated to meet noise criteria suitable for childcare settings. Upon completion, the entire HVAC system is tested, commissioned, and balanced to verify airflow rates, temperature control, and overall system performance, ensuring readiness for occupancy and regulatory sign-off.
